“The 1922 Refugees: A Crucial Component in 20th Century Modern Greek History”

The Alpha Bank Historical Archives and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki are jointly hosting a scientific meeting on “The 1922 Refugees: A Crucial Component in 20th Century Modern Greek History”, to commemorate the 100-year anniversary from the Asia Minor Catastrophe.

Through various talks, distinguished speakers aspire to cover various aspects of this dark moment in the history of Greece.

A round-table discussion will take place on the 1st day of the meeting, aiming to probe into the correlation between refugee descent and entrepreneurship.
