The publication Banks and the Crisis, 1929-1932 focuses on Greek banking in the form it took during the 1929-1932 crisis. It examines the allocation of banking activities and the intervention of the State in economic affairs. This was the first time that state intervention in economic affairs as well as competition among banks for market share were first observed.
