The publication The Alpha Bank Collection. Greek Art from 1950 until Today (Ioannina) features 39 works of art that outline the evolution of artistic production in Greece from the 1950s onwards.
The catalogue of a remarkable exhibition
The publication accompanied the exhibition “The Alpha Bank Collection. Greek Art from 1950 until Today” that opened on 20 February 2019 at the Municipal Art Gallery of Ioannina. The exhibition ran until 19 May and was co-hosted by Alpha Bank and the Municipal Art Gallery of Ioannina.
The opening of the exhibition coincided with the celebration of the “Eleftheria”, the 106-year anniversary of the liberation of Ioannina from the Ottoman rule.
